Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) in Hanover, MD seeks an experienced Technical Field Service Representative (Infrastructure Support) to support a 24/7 DoD cyber operations program. You will install, administer, and optimize Linux/Windows systems and drive automation with Ansible and Python.

You’ll monitor performance, patch vulnerabilities, manage Cisco/VMware components, and mentor teammates while ensuring security compliance and reliability in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for deployment/automation.
• Linux and Windows system administration and patching.
• Host-based networking and Cisco configurations; STIGs knowledge.
• Linux+ or similar and CCNA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows systems and perform patching.
• Perform system administration, optimization, and proactive monitoring.
• Implement upgrades and configuration changes to improve functionality.
• Manage Cisco, VMware components, and NetApp/other infrastructure.
• Mentor teammates and adapt to shifting priorities in a DoD program.
