Job summary

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager under the Cyber Excepted Service to lead enterprise projects that support U.S. Cyber Command.

This federal role focuses on program management and lifecycle oversight within the DISA J6/C4 ENTERPRISE DIRECTORATE. Responsibilities include developing project plans, budgeting, contract management, and ensuring compliance with DoD and DISA directives while coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in IT-related work to ensure accuracy, completeness and standards.
• Customer service experience developing or identifying IT products and services to meet customer needs.
• Oral communication: briefing mid-level management and IT staff on system status and projects.

Responsibilities

• Defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables with clients.
• Develops and manages comprehensive project plans; leads resources per DoD/DISA policies.
• Evaluates systems or projects to forecast future expenditures.
• Assesses risk in acquisitions or procurements against goals and requirements.
• Leads and administers project resources per applicable policies.
