Job summary

Leidos seeks a Cyber Infrastructure Support Lead to join the Corporate Information Security Office in California, MD. The role is hands-on, focusing on reliability, performance, and security across Windows and Linux with leadership responsibilities in mentoring and prioritizing work.

The successful candidate will be the IT decision maker, overseeing testing, deployment, maintenance, and administration of cyber systems, and ensuring compliance with CM, STIGs, and security policies.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years of related experience (or Master’s with 6–10 years).
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST, ICD, CNSS standards.
• DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (SCAP/ACAS).
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN in classified environments including crypto and key management.
• Strong writing and verbal presentation skills.
• Hands-on STIG implementation and management.
• Ability to work in a dynamic regulatory environment and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems securely, reliably, and at scale.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting.
• Collaborate with IA, engineering, and operations teams to deliver IT services.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to information system, network and security events.
