Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events. You will drive post-incident response, assess impacted data, and coordinate remediation with executive stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes trusted advisor leadership, with responsibilities spanning strategy, reporting, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy consulting, cybersecurity consulting, risk advisory, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response, including threat intelligence application.
• Familiar with electronic discovery and legal aspects related to investigations.
• Strong privacy/data protection regulatory knowledge across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products.
• Excellent executive communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements following containment and forensic review.
• Assess data to determine exposure of sensitive, confidential, regulated, or personal information.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and compliance.
• Advise on notification, regulatory, contractual, and reporting obligations.
• Oversee data review, impact assessments, and decision-making for affected individuals and orgs.
• Develop executive reports, client deliverables, regulatory submissions, and board-ready communications.
• Guide remediation planning and implementation, including process improvements and controls.
• Manage large-scale projects with multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Provide strategic counsel to client leadership during incidents.
• Mentor teams to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
