Strada is seeking an Incident Response Lead to join its cybersecurity team in New York. This individual contributor leadership role drives incident response readiness and ensures timely, coordinated action during cybersecurity incidents.

The role focuses on maturing processes, playbooks, escalation paths, and exercises, while partnering with SOC, Legal, Risk, and Communications to meet regulatory obligations and maintain operational resilience.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of incident management experience.
• Led high-severity cybersecurity incidents and programs.
• Experience building or shaping incident response programs rather than inheriting them.
• Operate independently under pressure with sound decisions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with tech, product, security, legal, and executives.
• Cloud infrastructure incident experience.
• Use incident metrics to drive improvements over time.
• Excellent communication under pressure.
• Self-starter with proactive approach.
• Process design and runbook documentation.
• Coaching and change-enablement skills.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-61, SANS lifecycle, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CISSP/GCIA a plus.

Aufgaben

• Act as incident lead for major cybersecurity incidents, establishing severity, objectives, workstreams, decision rights, communication cadence, and escalation paths.
• Coordinate end-to-end response including containment, eradication, recovery, and closure with clear ownership.
• Synchronize security, infrastructure, cloud, identity, network, application, vendor, and business teams to restore services and validate stability.
• Provide timely situation reports and translate technical findings into business impact and required actions.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Risk, Communications, HR, Business Continuity, and customer-facing teams to meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
