Job summary

PwC is seeking a Cyber Defense & Resilience - Incident Response - Senior Associate to focus on cybersecurity incident management within the Cybersecurity practice. You will identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents affecting client systems and data while building client connections and guiding workstreams.

You will support incident response activities, interpret data to shape recommendations, and contribute to a team driving improvements to reduce future exposure for diverse client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cyber incidents by triaging alerts and coordinating containment and recovery.
• Develop incident response workstreams addressing malware, phishing, credential abuse, ransomware, and other threats.
• Apply forensic tools and threat intelligence to reconstruct attack paths and identify impacted systems and data.
• Prepare incident timelines, executive-ready summaries, and detailed technical findings for clients.
• Support remediation by tracking actions, validating control gaps, and documenting lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client personnel to align response with business priorities.
• Guide junior team members through investigations and documentation.
