Job summary

Strada Global is seeking an Incident Response Lead to serve as the operational backbone of incident handling. You will lead major cybersecurity incidents, coordinate across security, infrastructure, cloud, identity, network, and business teams, and translate technical findings into business impact for executives.

You will mature the incident response program, design playbooks, run tabletop exercises, mentor responders, and drive improvements in controls, detections, and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in incident management and leading high-severity incidents.
• Experience shaping an incident response program with structure and ownership.
• Ability to operate independently under pressure with limited direction.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with tech, legal, communications, and executives.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure incidents and distributed environments.
• Analytical use of incident data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cybersecurity Incident Response: Act as incident lead for major cybersecurity incidents, establishing severity, objectives, workstreams, decision rights, communication cadence, and escalation paths.
• Build readiness for incidents: Own and mature incident response by establishing processes, enhancing tooling, and defining operational standards for handling incidents at scale.
• Coach and enable the organization: Provide expert guidance on complex incidents and mentor responders, analysts, and technical stakeholders in effective incident management practices.
• Lead post-incident reviews, assign and track corrective actions, and ensure lessons learned improve controls, architecture, detections, response capability, and operational resilience.
