Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an Incident Response Coordinator to join our Cyber Defense Team in Portland. You will coordinate cybersecurity incidents from intake through closure, act as the central communication hub, and ensure response activities stay aligned with incident response procedures in high-pressure moments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT operations, or related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities with strong stakeholder management.
• Working knowledge of incident response principles and best practices.
• Experience developing or improving operational processes and program artifacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity incidents from intake through closure, ensuring organized, timely response.
• Serve as central communication hub during active incidents with stakeholder updates.
• Manage incident documentation, timelines, decisions, actions, and post-incident records.
• Track response actions with incident responders and technical teams to drive accountability.
• Facilitate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of incident response playbooks.
• Organize tabletop exercises and readiness activities to strengthen response capability.
• Track and report incident response metrics and trends for leadership review.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, HR, Communications, and other stakeholders to align with policies and regulations.
