Columbia Sportswear Company seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company property. You will support access control, security monitoring, patrols, incident response, and customer service at our Portland facilities.

The role may require onsite work Sunday–Saturday, with shifts during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will report security incidents, enforce site policies, and assist with emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of security experience.
• Valid security license or certification as required by state or local regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Access Control & Security Monitoring: Monitor access and security operations from the security desk.
• Patrol & Facility Security: Conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify safety hazards and security concerns.
• Incident Response & Reporting: Respond to alarms and incidents, notify appropriate personnel, prepare incident reports.
• Enforce company policies and site regulations, maintain professionalism during emergencies.
