Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking an Incident Response Coordinator to act as the central point of coordination for cybersecurity incidents, guiding response from intake through closure and ensuring activities align with established IR procedures.

You will partner with cybersecurity, technology, legal, privacy, HR and business stakeholders to drive communications, documentation, preparedness, and continuous improvement across the incident response program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT operations, technology program coordination, incident management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional activities with strong stakeholder management and accountability.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity incident response principles, processes, and industry best practices.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or improving operational processes, documentation, procedures, or program artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cybersecurity incidents from intake through closure, ensuring response activities are organized and aligned with incident response procedures.
• Serve as the central communication hub during active incidents, providing stakeholder updates and maintaining visibility across teams.
• Manage incident documentation, timelines, decisions, actions, and post-incident records for audit readiness.
• Partner with responders and technical teams to track response actions and drive accountability through resolution.
• Facilitate lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of incident response playbooks and procedures.
• Organize and coordinate tabletop exercises and readiness activities to strengthen incident response capabilities.
• Track and report incident response metrics and trends to support leadership decisions.
