Job summary

Nightwing in Maryland is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Maryland engineering team, guiding development, mentoring engineers, and aligning with program goals across on-contract work, IRAD, and FEOTB activities.

You will report to the Director of Engineering, Technology, and Solutions EM and shape workforce capability, staffing strategies, and performance management while ensuring security clearances and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven technical management experience in engineering.
• 5+ years in Offensive/Defensive Cyber Operations engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership in a team environment.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers within assigned teams to build workforce capability and technical excellence.
• Design and execute staffing strategies based on technical requirements and program needs.
• Manage performance feedback, development plans, and personnel decisions.
• Coordinate with Senior Leadership, Program Managers, and Directors to ensure successful program execution.
