Job summary

Nightwing's CODEX is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Maryland engineering team. You will be accountable for the development, mentoring, and daily management of engineers supporting multiple programs within the CODEX portfolio, ensuring you have qualified resources for on-contract work, IRAD, and FEOTB activities.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, Technology, and Solutions EM, you will lead personnel development, staffing strategies, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly, Poly Preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven technical management experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with Offensive and/or Defensive Cyber Operations engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maryland engineering teams and mentor engineers across multiple programs.
• Staffing, retention, and workforce forecasting to meet program needs.
• Support proposals and business development by identifying technical staff and qualifications.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Technical Directors for program execution.
• Provide input to leadership on workforce capability and training needs.
