Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with eligibility for DoD Secret clearance.
• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT.
• Solid TCP/IP, OSI model, and defense-in-depth concepts.
• Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with proactive learning and alert analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Triage and analyze security alerts from SIEM/IDS/NetFlow to detect malicious activity.
• Assist senior analysts with network traffic analysis and event correlation.
• Shadow incident response during containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Review open-source threat intel and identify Indicators of Compromise.
• Analyze potential incidents in logs and network data for anomalies.
• Create clear technical documentation and incident reports for leadership.
