Leidos LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across customer networks. You will analyze alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, and network data, and coordinate with senior staff on investigations.

This role requires on-site work, DoD clearance readiness, and strong reporting skills. You will document findings, create incident reports, and support national security missions while operating in a mission-essential SOC environment

Qualifications

• Willing to perform shift work on site including weekends.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; or 12+ years without degree.
• 2+ years of incident handling/response experience.
• 2+ years of SOC experience.
• CND experience in a Computer Incident Response organization.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, networking ports and protocols, and defense-in-depth.

Responsabilités

• Utilize alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, netflow, and custom sensors to identify compromises on customer networks/endpoints.
• Perform intermediate-level review of massive log files, pivot between data sets, and correlate evidence for incident investigations.
• Pass triaged alerts to senior-level SOC personnel and assist in identifying malicious actors on customer networks.
• Document analysis, findings, and actions in a case/knowledge management system.
• Creation and distribution of incident reports to customers and higher headquarters.
