Leidos, a leading defense, intelligence, and technology company, is seeking motivated cybersecurity students for our Summer 2027 Internship Program as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern in Alexandria, VA, onsite at the Mark Center. You will work directly with SOC analysts to learn enterprise-grade toolsets and detect threats within a real Security Operations Center environment.

• U.S. citizen and capable to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, network ports and protocols, traffic flow, OSI model, and defense-in-depth.
• Analytical mindset with troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to use alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow to identify compromises.
• Review large log files and correlate evidence for incident investigations.
• Assist senior SOC personnel by triaging alerts and identifying malicious actors.
• Document analysis, findings, and actions in a case management system.
• Support the creation and distribution of incident reports to customers and HQ.
