Job summary

84 Lumber is recruiting a cybersecurity professional to defend our enterprise network and retail operations. You will analyze threats, monitor security events, and coordinate with 3rd party SOC teams to investigate incidents and vulnerabilities.

The role requires hands-on analysis, reporting, and remediation across networks, endpoints, and applications, with a focus on protecting business-critical systems and customer data. 24x7 security support is expected.

Qualifications

• - Knowledge of information security standards and ensuring ongoing critical business functions.
• - Principles and concepts of information security for networks, workstations, servers, and apps.
• - Self-starter with initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
• - Strong organizational, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform network security analysis and coordinate with 3rd party SOC for incident response and threat intel.
• Provide strategic and near real-time auditing, investigation, reporting, remediation, and tracking of security activities.
• Analyze data and prepare vulnerability reports with recommendations to prevent or mitigate risks.
• Evaluate new security tools and existing ones to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with System/Network Administrators to track and remediate vulnerabilities promptly.
• Assist with user account administration and access control reporting.
