Job summary

DLA Land and Maritime in Columbus, OH, seeks a cybersecurity analyst to monitor and respond to threats 24x7. You will use SIEM and other tools to detect, analyze, and counter unauthorized activity in an enterprise network environment.

Role requires 5+ years of cybersecurity experience and practical skills in root cause analysis, multiple security tools, and scripting to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. TS/SCI eligible, Office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant cybersecurity experience.
• 2 years experience performing root cause analysis of cybersecurity events and incidents.
• Working knowledge of multiple security tools including Firewall, IDS/IPS, Host based antivirus, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Forensics, Malware Analysis, and Device Hardening.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 24x7x365 monitoring of SIEM and other cybersecurity monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats in the Enterprise Network Environment.
• Protect, monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity through alert-driven actions.
• Review logged events to identify trends indicating attack or compromise.
