84 Lumber is seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Enterprise IT Security team. You will perform security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and compliance activities across our retail and corporate environments.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional groups, evaluate new security tools, and help implement controls to protect confidential data and maintain system availability on a 24x7 schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required.
• 3-5 years information security administration/analysis/engineering in a corporate setting.
• Experience supporting third party security tools to manage and audit information systems.
• 3+ years exposure to Information Technology General Controls.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform network security analysis and work with 3rd party SOC teams on incident response and threat intel.
• Provide strategic analysis and near real-time auditing, reporting, remediation and tracking.
• Analyze data and prepare vulnerability reports with actionable recommendations.
• Evaluate new tools and leverage existing ones to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with admins to track and mitigate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Assist with user account administration and access control requests.
• Review vulnerability scans and stay updated on new threats and malware.
• Configure and monitor security software to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Assist with breach response and data security remediation.
• Perform security assessments and communicate alerts and findings.
• Log support requests accurately and follow up post-resolution.
• Engage with third-party partners and maintain ongoing technical competency.
