Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Incident Response & Threat Detection Analyst to support the Defense Logistics Agency in protecting critical systems. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and respond to threats in a 24x7 environment.

The role requires active DOD TS clearance, CSSP Analyst certification, and 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active DOD Top Secret clearance and eligibility for IT-1 and SCI access.
• CSSP Analyst certification (CEH, CySA) required with proof.
• Five (5) years relevant experience in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM platforms and other cybersecurity monitoring tools in a 24x7x365 environment to identify threats and indicators of compromise.
• Detect, analyze, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents affecting the enterprise network.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify source, impact and contributing factors of incidents.
• Review and analyze security logs, alerts, and traffic to identify trends and suspicious activity.
• Proactively monitor for APTs and “low and slow” attacks and other emerging threats.
• Execute incident response actions to contain, mitigate, and respond to unauthorized activity.
• Utilize threat intelligence and OSINT to stay aware of current threats.
• Analyze data from firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DLP, vulnerability management, forensics, malware analysis, and device hardening tools.
• Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for enterprise cybersecurity tools.
• Assist with defense-in-depth controls, signatures, and perimeter defenses.
