Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events. You will guide post-incident response, assess impacted data, coordinate remediation, and manage stakeholder communications.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and executive stakeholders while leading multidisciplinary teams through breach response and recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy or cybersecurity consulting.
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities and incident response.
• Familiarity with electronic discovery and analysis.
• Strong privacy and data protection regulation knowledge across jurisdictions.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and reviewing work products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements following containment and forensic investigation.
• Assess impacted data and determine exposure of sensitive information.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and client stakeholders.
• Advise on notification, regulatory, contractual and reporting obligations.
• Oversee data review, impact assessments and decisions affecting individuals and organizations.
• Develop executive reports, client deliverables, regulatory submissions, and board-ready communications.
• Guide remediation planning and implementation including process improvements.
• Manage large-scale projects with multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
• Provide strategic counsel to client leadership during critical incidents.
• Mentor and develop engagement teams to ensure quality deliverables.
