Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events. You will guide post-incident response, assess impacted data, and coordinate remediation with multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll advise executive stakeholders, develop board-ready communications, and mentor engagement teams while delivering trusted, high-impact outcomes for Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, or related disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations and electronic discovery basics.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end breach response engagements from containment through forensic review.
• Assess impacted data to determine exposure of sensitive or personal information.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, privacy, legal, and compliance.
• Advise on notification, regulatory, and reporting obligations following incidents.
• Develop executive reports, regulatory submissions, and board-ready communications.
• Guide remediation planning and control enhancements across engagements.
• Manage large, multi-workstream projects with tight deadlines.
• Provide strategic counseling to client leadership during high-profile incidents.
• Mentor engagement teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
