Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior for Forensics - Crisis and Investigations - Cyber Response to lead client engagements involving cyber incidents and data breaches. You will focus on post-incident activities, assess affected data, and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams, including legal and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or related field.
• 2+ years in cyber incident response, data breach response, digital forensics, privacy or cybersecurity consulting.
• Strong understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response, with ability to apply threat intel to engagements.
• Basic understanding of legalities around electronic discovery and analysis.
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations across jurisdictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond normal hours when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation and a driver’s license is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements involving cyber incidents, data breaches, and information security events.
• Oversee post-incident response, assess impacted data, and coordinate remediation activities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, privacy, legal, forensic, compliance, and client teams.
• Assist with notifications, regulatory reporting, and contractual obligations.
• Review data, conduct impact assessments, and support decisions on affected parties.
• Contribute to remediation planning and process improvements.
