D2 Technical Services in Springfield, VA is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure for federal clients. The role emphasizes DoD-aligned cybersecurity, EC2/EBS/ELB/S3/RDS, and cross-team collaboration.

Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility and have 6+ years in network/cybersecurity engineering, with practical experience in Windows and Linux environments and IASAE/IAT certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical experience in network/cybersecurity engineering for large-scale enterprise/global networks.
• Must hold TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
• Certifications per DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M IAT Level III and IASAE Level II.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications on Windows and Linux.
• Engineer and implement cloud-based cybersecurity solutions using EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS.
• Research and deploy enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions aligning with customer mission goals.
• Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with government agencies.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and capability roadmaps.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external assessors to manage security assessments and authorization processes.
