Job summary

Cowbell is seeking a Director, Claims to lead our cyber claims team, setting strategy, goals and ensuring accurate adjudication of complex cyber claims. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance and customer service excellence.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in cyber claims handling and at least 2 years in people leadership, with strong coverage, evaluation and negotiation skills, and a collaborative mindset. JD preferred.

• Excellent organizational and presentation abilities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cyber claims professionals and set departmental goals and strategies.
• Ensure accurate and timely adjudication of cyber claims.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external parties, and regulators to drive claims processes.
• Provide regular communication with customers, brokers, and partners.
• Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to evaluate team performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and digital transformation in the claims function.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Guide adjusters on complex/high-value claims to facilitate fair settlements.
