General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Asset Management Analyst Junior to support CBP cyber operations by maintaining precise asset inventories, tracking lifecycles, and validating system‑discovered assets. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance, enabling secure mission execution.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience updating asset records, correcting discrepancies, and validating system‑discovered assets.
• Foundational understanding of asset management processes, databases, or discovery tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across large datasets.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple technical and operational stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of asset databases or CMDB structures.
• Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundations, CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional), CompTIA A+.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a cybersecurity‑focused mission environment, ensuring asset data remains reliable for operational and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update asset inventories to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with asset lifecycle tracking (procurement, deployment, maintenance, disposition).
• Validate discovered hardware and software assets.
• Support asset reconciliation efforts and help resolve data discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing asset management reports.
