Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) year of professional relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience performing routine asset record updates, correct discrepancies, and validate system-discovered assets to maintain authoritative data sources.
• Foundational understanding of asset management processes, databases, or discovery tools (training provided as needed).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across large datasets.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple technical and operational stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of asset databases or CMDB structures.
• Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundations
• CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional)
• CompTIA A+ (for hardware familiarity)

Responsibilities

• Operate within a cybersecurity-focused mission environment, ensuring asset data remains reliable for operational and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update asset inventories to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with asset lifecycle tracking (procurement, deployment, maintenance, disposition).
• Validate discovered hardware and software assets.
• Support asset reconciliation efforts and help resolve data discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing asset management reports.
