Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Military & Family Life Counselor - School to provide child and youth behavioral counseling for service members and families at NAS Whiting Field, FL. The role requires independent licensure and experience in a school setting, with assignments in DoDEA and community schools.

You will deliver non-medical counseling, training, and parent guidance, while coordinating with DoD partners and maintaining secure reporting. Flexibility for on-base assignments is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health or social work.
• Independent licensure in any state as a mental health clinician.
• Less than 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
• Ability to engage with military members and families.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical, short-term counseling to eligible children and youth of service members.
• Deliver training and health and wellness presentations to parents and staff.
• Consult with parents, schools and DoD/DoDEA personnel on behavioral health issues.
• Enter counselor activity data daily and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
• Develop relationships with community resources and coordinate linkages.
