Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing, or a closely adjacent field with direct ownership of a customer story, reference, or executive community program.
• Solid background in data protection, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, cyber resilience, backup, AI or similar.
• Technical fluency sufficient to discuss ransomware recovery, identity resilience, or hybrid cloud data protection with CISOs/IT leaders and recognize invalid outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly about complex technical topics for a senior business audience without jargon.
• Strong interviewing instincts to surface real stories rather than polished testimonials.
• Experience working in enterprise sales environments and understanding how customer proof points factor into deals.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of customer story candidates across verticals, geographies, and use cases in partnership with sales, customer success, and product/engineering teams.
• Lead customer discovery conversations to surface operational impact, recovery requirements, and post-event outcomes.
• Write and produce first-draft narratives across formats: written stories, video briefs, executive one-pagers, and event abstracts.
