Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior CXO Customer Advocacy Manager to own the customer story program and the CXO Visionaries community. This role partners with Sales, Customer Success, and Product/Engineering to surface real operational impact, translate it into compelling narratives, and drive executive engagement at Rubrik events and media opportunities.

The role requires deep technical fluency in cyber resilience and data protection, plus strong interviewing and content-creation skills to produce

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product marketing, product management, or related field with ownership of customer story or executive community program
• Solid background in data protection, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, cyber resilience, backup, or AI
• Technical fluency to discuss ransomware recovery, identity resilience, or hybrid cloud data protection with CIOs/CTOs
• Ability to write clearly about complex technical topics for senior business audiences
• Strong interviewing instincts to extract authentic customer stories
• Experience in enterprise sales environments and leveraging customer proof points in deals and executive conversations

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of customer story candidates across key verticals, geographies, and cross-functional teams
• Lead discovery conversations to surface operational impact and outcomes
• Write and produce initial narratives across formats (written stories, video briefs, executive one-pagers, abstracts)
• Own and operate the CXO Visionaries program end to end
• Develop CXO Visionary profiles and manage award programs
• Coordinate with internal editorial plans for the Visionaries newsletter
• Recruit, onboard, and connect Visionaries with speaking and media opportunities
• Coordinate with Rubrik Zero Labs for exclusive threat intelligence access
• Develop command of Rubrik’s platform to contextualize customer outcomes
• Ensure customer stories reflect accurate technical context and capabilities
• Identify patterns across stories for repeatable insights
• Build scalable tracking systems for customer story data
• Manage intake, production, review, and publication workflows
• Coordinate customer stories for quarterly earnings and investor contexts
• Define and enforce quality standards for Rubrik customer stories
• Track story usage and impact across sales, events, PR, and exec engagements
• Partner with PR/communications to surface stories for media, bylines, and partnerships
• Match stories to conversations in the field and sales teams rather than maintain a generic library
• Support thought leadership with grounded proof points and coordinated social content
• Collaborate with cloud and alliance teams to meet partner requirements
