Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) is hiring a CX Revenue Processing Specialist I to handle daily customer payments and ensure accurate posting across multiple clients. The role requires judgment with limited supervision and participation in special projects.

You will process payments from Western Union, lockbox and other channels, support programs like LIHEAP/GNF, and ensure SOX compliance through daily balancing and documentation. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3-4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Experience handling high-volume customer payments and reconciliations.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex payment instructions and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments from multiple channels including third parties and lockbox
• Process agency payments for assistance programs and special accounts
• Balance daily deposits and reconcile file postings for SOX compliance
• Investigate payments with incomplete information to ensure accurate posting
• Handle customer inquiries, disputes and non-payment related items
• Collaborate with treasury and accounting to ensure accurate transaction recording
• Adhere to NACHA, ACH, PCI and PII guidelines and security requirements
