Job summary

Aegeus Inspection in the United States is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to verify weld integrity across aerospace, power, and oil & gas projects. This role focuses on thorough inspections and evaluations of welds to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You will collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers, review welding procedures, identify defects, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to protect structural safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• CWI certification and welding inspection expertise.
• 5+ years experience in welding inspection in technical services.
• Knowledge of welding codes: AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and WPS.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and non-destructive inspections of welds.
• Review welding procedures, qualifications, and documentation.
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions with fabrication teams.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and report findings.
• Stay current with industry standards and inspection technologies.
