The ideal candidate will hold an AWS CWI certification with 5+ years of welding inspection experience, strong knowledge of D1.1, ASME IX, blueprint reading, GD&T, and weld symbol interpretation, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and ISO 9001 quality systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold AWS CWI certification with 5+ years welding inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME IX and ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience inspecting stainless steel and high‑performance alloys; familiarity with ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and non‑destructive inspections to ensure welded products meet standards.
• Verify weld procedures, welder qualifications, consumables, and documentation for compliance.
• Document inspection results and non‑conformances in the quality system.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve welding issues and drive improvements.
• Participate in weld audits, training, and calibration of inspection equipment.
