Job summary

Intertek is seeking a CWI/NDE Inspector to join our PSI team in Morgan Hill, California. The role performs testing, observations, and inspection duties under supervision, reading plans, calibrating equipment, and documenting results to support quality and safety objectives in the A/E/C industry.

The ideal candidate holds AWS CWI and ASNT NDT Level II in UT/PT/DT with 3+ years of CWI/NDE experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CWI/NDE experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal & written form
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
• ASNT NDT Level II in UT/PT/DT
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
• Ability to work off shifts and commute to remote locations

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, project-specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision
• Operate testing equipment and conduct tests (soil, concrete, etc.) and report data
• Observe site activities using specific methods and perform tasks
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment
• Make detailed observations and interpret results
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
• Operate a calculator to compute test results and communicate findings to clients
