Job summary

Intertek is seeking a CWI/NDE Inspector in Morgan Hill, California to join the PSI team. The role involves performing a range of testing, observations, and inspections under general supervision to support quality assurance in A/E/C projects.

Ideal candidates hold an AWS CWI and ASNT NDT Level II across UT, MT, and DT, with 3+ years of experience. A valid driver's license and ability to work overtime and outdoors are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of CWI/NDE experience.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• ASNT NDT Level II certification in UT, MT, and DT.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• Basic math, calculator, and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, project-specific observations, and inspection duties under supervision.
• Operate testing equipment and conduct soil, concrete, or other tests and report results.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Document data from test results clearly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
