SMEUSA is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to perform critical inspections and ensure quality on diverse projects. This role includes conducting NDT methods like ultrasonic testing, overseeing structural connections, and traveling to job sites across Michigan.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification.
• NDT experience with ASNT SNT‑TC‑1A, Level II certification or training log.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on building construction sites.
• Conduct NDT of welds and structural members.
• Field witnessing, sample collection, and lab testing.
