Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a CVT Charge for the Cath Lab to monitor procedures across diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral studies as well as structural heart cases. The role includes education and mentoring of students and new hires within a close-knit team, with state-of-the-art technology and devices.

The position is full-time, day shift, with on-call requirements, and requires RCIS/RCES certifications or equivalent within 12 months of hire, along with Florida

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
• RCIS or RCES certification required within 12 months of hire.
• ARRT licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications preferred/required.
• Florida license (FL Certified Radiologic Technologist) or Florida Respiratory Therapist license with ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary/peripheral studies and structural heart procedures.
• Acts as scrub assistant and mentors students and new hires.
• Full-time day shift; on-call required.

Overview:There are three Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab.

We are searching for someone who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset and value their professional experience they will acquire while working. At Leesburg Hospital, there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff.

This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices.There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab.

The Director is a servant-leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community.

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab CVT Charge, under the direction the of the director/manager person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral

studies as well as structural heart procedures, and works as a scrub assistant.

The CVT Charge also assists with education and mentoring of students and new hires within the cath lab environment and facilitates the delivery of quality, safe patient care. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position.On-Call Required

Qualifications

EducationAssociate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory TherapyIn Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

ORRegistered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration

FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)

ORFL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
