Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse CVOR for a travel nursing opportunity in Akron, Ohio. The CVOR RN will circulate and assist during cardiothoracic procedures while ensuring patient safety and sterile technique.

This 13-week assignment requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and BLS certification. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, monitoring vitals, adjusting care plans, and coordinating OR operations with the team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or pending state approval.
• CVOR RN experience or strong cardiovascular OR exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care to support surgeons and OR staff.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain sterile environment.
• Monitor patient status, administer meds, and document care.
