Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Toledo, Ohio. The CVOR RN will provide specialized cardiovascular operating room care, circulating for a variety of cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.

The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS and the ability to work 10-hour days on a travel assignment with 40 hours per week. You will support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment and must maintain aseptic

Qualifications

1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional CVOR care for a team of physicians and nurses.
Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and complex surgeries.
Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
Assist during procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
Coordinate OR sterility, equipment availability and supplies.
Monitor patient vitals and administer prescribed medications.
