Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse in Springfield, OH for a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS and BLS certifications.

The role focuses on circulating for cardiothoracic surgeries and other complex procedures in a fast-paced CVOR environment. Travel RN duties include patient assessment, perioperative care, medication administration, and collaboration with surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Travel assignment with 13 weeks duration and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist physician during procedures and monitor patient status.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field in the OR.
• Coordinate OR activities, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
