Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a CVOR travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The travel position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and will involve working 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts in a CVOR setting.

The CVOR RN will circulate for cardiothoracic procedures, assist surgeons, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after operations. Travel experience and strong clinical skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS, PALS certifications.
• CVOR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CVOR nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and assist surgeons.
• Maintain sterile technique and monitor patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Coordinate the OR to ensure equipment, supplies, and sterility.
