Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Mesa, AZ is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to provide sterile and technical support for cardiovascular and open-heart procedures. The role requires a High School diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, and BLS certification; CST certification is preferred or required by facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Preferred).
• Previous CVOR or cardiovascular surgical experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the CVOR, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and assists with surgical procedures according to established standards.
• Passes instruments and supplies to surgeons and assists with surgical team needs.
• Performs instrument, sponge, and equipment counts before, during, and after procedures.
• Assists with specimen handling, surgical equipment setup, and room turnover.
• Maintains accurate documentation and follows infection control, safety, and sterile processing standards.
