Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures in Mesa, AZ. The role entails case preparation, sterile field maintenance, instrument handling, and assisting with complex pediatric surgeries under RN supervision.

Required are pediatric CVOR experience and certification, with strong background in neuro, ortho, and general pediatric surgery. BLS is preferred per facility guidelines; on-site demand is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong pediatric CVOR experience and related certifications are required.
• Experience in pediatric neurology, orthopedics, and general surgery is required.
• Pediatric operating room experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pediatric CVOR cases, instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field using strict aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments, supplies, and medications during surgical procedures.
• Assist with pediatric cardiac and complex surgical cases.
• Perform instrument, sponge, needle, and sharps counts with the RN.
• Maintain surgical equipment, supplies, and specialty inventory.
• Support Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, and Level I Trauma procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient operating room.
• Perform other duties according to department guidelines.
