Job summary

IntermountainHealth is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN for St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Colorado. The role focuses on perioperative patient care, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and delivering high-quality, safe outcomes in the OR.

The position requires a BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), and BLS; 1+ year cardiothoracic nursing experience is highly preferred. Shift is 10 hours/day, with call, nights, weekends, and holidays in a busy CVOR.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with patients and families.
• Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
