Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an RN to provide patient-centered care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will coordinate with the surgical team and other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

The role requires completing nursing education (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), maintaining an RN license in Missouri or compact state, and obtaining BLS within 30 days; ACLS and other certifications may be required based on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in MO or compact licensure.
• Six months OR experience; Level I proficiency as defined per policy.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
