Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care within our nursing framework. You will apply the nursing process, ensure patient rights, and collaborate with the surgical team to coordinate care.

Minimum requirements include an ADN/ Diploma or BSN, current MO RN license or compact, and BLS certification with six months OR experience. Additional certifications may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school with ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure where duties are performed.
• Six months OR experience; Level I proficiency per Mercy policy.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required within department-required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Works in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values and Service Standards.
