Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a full-time position in Dallas. This role involves delivering specialized perioperative care in cardiovascular surgeries and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications and experience in CVOR settings.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document all relevant patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members.
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and postoperative care.
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory standards in cardiovascular nursing care.
