Csmedicalpro in Dallas, TX is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse to support cardiovascular procedures within a fast-paced perioperative environment. You will maintain sterile technique, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years CVOR experience and strong critical thinking and communication skills to navigate complex cardiovascular and vascular cases on a 3x12 hour shift with on-call nights

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.
Minimum 2 years CVOR nursing experience.
Experience with open heart, open vascular, and endovascular procedures.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-acuity surgical settings.

Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care throughout the process.
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor patient status and advocate for safety during procedures.
Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain efficient workflow.
Assist with complex cardiovascular and vascular cases.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and patient safety protocols.
Accurately document patient care and surgical activities.
