Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, effective perioperative care across all patient populations. The role includes acting as an RN First Assistant during operative procedures and as an RN circulator when required, with responsibilities aligned to credentialing and competency.

The candidate must hold a GA RN license and CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with 2 years perioperative RN/RNFA experience and CVOR experience if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in Georgia.
• Completion of AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• Minimum 3 years as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR if CVOR.
• Current GA RN license; CNOR; CRNFA; BCLS; ACLS; PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and throughout perioperative continuum.
• Serve as RN circulator when applicable to the role.
