Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to ensure safe, effective perioperative care across patient populations. You will function as an RN First Assistant during operative procedures and may serve as an RN circulator as needed.

Requirements include a Georgia RN license, CNOR and CRNFA certifications, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and 2+ years in perioperative roles (or CVOR tech with RN/tech background). AORN-RN FA program completion is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (required).
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (required).
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR (required).
• Current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate licensure (required).
• Certification in CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS and PALS (required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and family-centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Act as RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as RN circulator when needed.
