The role requires completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, current GA RN licensure, and a minimum of 2 years perioperative RN/RNFA experience; CVOR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required).
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Didactic and clinical components) (Required).

Responsibilities

• Functions as an RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care and, when needed, assume the role of RN circulator in the OR.
